In pursuing counseling, you have made a decision to invest in your future. It is my privilege to work with you throughout this journey. As your therapist, I will do my best to understand you and the difficulties you face. We will work together to determine a healthy approach to any issues or concerns you may have.

Jennifer is an LPC-Associate with a passion for helping individuals and families work through difficult times. Jennifer strives to build a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients, and brings humor, empathy and evidence-based techniques to her work to help her clients achieve their goals. This unique therapeutic relationship provides safety, trust and honesty throughout the counseling experience. She offers a direct, yet collaborative approach to counseling. As such, clients should be prepared to take an active role in their counseling sessions. Jennifer’s optimism and passion for helping others allow her to be a great source of encouragement throughout the counseling process.

Her approach to counseling is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This means her work with clients is centered around teaching new skills and techniques that will help clients reframe negative thoughts and modify maladaptive behaviors. These skills are designed to improve day-to day functioning and inspire life-long changes. While her theoretical orientation is founded in CBT, she is also trained to utilize other modalities that meet the needs of each client, including EMDR, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Person-centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic and Existential Therapies.
