Carolyn Bascon, LMFT-Associate

Supervised by Rachel Saenger, LPC-S, LMFT-S

Carolyn is a trauma-informed counselor who desires genuine healing and contentment for her clients. Carolyn works with children age 5+, teens, young adults, adults, couples and families.

Carolyn has a deep appreciation for people seeking therapy as a way to grow and learn more about themselves. She believes that our relationships have a great influence on our mental health, and that we can find healing through our relationships. Carolyn helps her clients gain insight and new perspectives into their relationship needs and learn new ways of communicating with those closest to them. She also helps her clients learn tools and techniques to manage anxiety and depression.  Some of Carolyn’s experience includes individuals and families who struggle with:

  • Depression and Anxiety

  • Marital Issues

  • Parenting Issues

  • Self-worth

  • Religious Identity

  • Relationship Difficulties (family, friends, co-workers, etc.)

  • Juveniles in the Court System

  • Anger

  • Life Transitions

Carolyn creates a safe, compassionate environment to help her clients on their journey of exploring their lives and relationships, healing past losses, and learning more about themselves and their feelings.  She would be honored to join you on your path to greater fulfillment.

Carolyn was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country. She received her Bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University, and her Master’s in Professional Counseling at Texas State University. In her free time, Carolyn can be found spending time with her family and exploring new places to eat good food and enjoy live music.
