Bailey Boggs, LMFT-Associate
Supervised by Dr. Whitney Humphrey, LMFT-S
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate specializing in couples counseling. I help partners reduce conflict, strengthen communication, and deepen emotional connection. I also support individuals, children, and teens navigating anxiety, trauma, and life transitions.
My approach is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a research-supported model that helps clients understand the emotions that drive relational patterns and develop new ways of connecting. I also integrate training and experience in the Gottman Method to support couples in building skills and in strengthening their relationships.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, I bring advanced training in family systems theory, allowing me to assess relational dynamics, intergenerational patterns, and attachment-based needs.
My past clinical experiences have included supporting couples, individuals, and families across diverse therapeutic settings. During my time at The Texas Tech University Family Therapy Clinic, I cultivated relational and personal growth for clients through targeted interventions and guided therapy. Within the University Medical Center’s Children’s Behavioral Health Clinic in
Lubbock, I provided specialized support to children and families navigating trauma, grief, and behavioral challenges.
I enjoy working with adults navigating early and mid-life transitions, including:
establishing careers, balancing work and relationships, navigating complex family dynamics, and adjusting to major life shifts such as marriage and parenthood. Many of my clients seek support in finding clarity,
strengthening relationships and creating a life that feels more fulfilling.
I create a warm and collaborative environment where clients can move from feeling stuck or disconnected to feeling more secure, confident, and connected in their relationships and daily lives.
I specialize in supporting the following areas of treatment:
● Premarital Counseling
● Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples and Families
● Anxiety and Depression
● Work Stress
● Trauma
● Grief and Loss
● Family Conflict and Parenting
● Relationship Stress
● Life Transitions
In my clinical work, I help individuals, couples, and families better understand their emotions, improve communication, and develop practical strategies for navigating challenges. Together, we identify and achieve goals by exploring patterns, increasing insight, and implementing effective coping skills. My goal is to help clients feel more confident, connected, and secure in themselves and in their relationships while creating lasting change that aligns with their values and goals.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy caring for my pets, spending time outdoors, and baking treats that make everyday moments feel even more special.
